(un mois sans rien poster, c'est pas bien. Mais alors, pas bien du tout. La principale excuse : la mise en page de textes longs -comme ce report- sur ce blog est un drame. L'impression de travailler sur un traitement de textes de 1981. Ceux qui ont connu ça pourront comprendre. Les autres... soye heureux d'y être venu bien plus tard :) )

Je comptais finir le résumé de ma semaine « un jour, une table finale dans une nouvelle variante » mais je galérais terriblement pour la mise en forme des mains de Stud. Pas facile, facile…

Du coup, j'ai un peu délaissé le blog. Tout comme le poker me délaissais aussi depuis deux semaines. Aucun résultat intéressant. Et même pas forcément de résultats du tout. Des places payées au buy-in ou presque. Des bulles. Plein de bulles...

Avec les innombrables tentatives infructeuses au SNG $20 à 180 joueurs de Pokerstars, mes résultats du mois avaient même plongé dans le rouge.


Au secours le cash !
Du coup, la priorité de la semaine derrière fut le cash games histoire de renflouer les pertes. Vendredi soir, les choses étaient à peu près revenues dans l’ordre puisque j’étais revenu de -$1000 à -$200. Repos samedi et dimanche pour recharger un peu les batteries, une grosse semaine de jeu étant encore à venir pour passer en positif.

Et, donc, hier soir, je décide de me coucher à une heure record. Avant l’aube. Plusieurs heures avant, même. Et puis, voila, quoi. Je me lance un petit divx pour l’endormir. Mais j’accroche à ce con de film québecquois (« Horloge biologique » pour ceux que ça intéresserait). Et le sommeil se fait la malle.

Du coup, aux grands maux les grands remèdes, je lance le WPT Reno de l’année dernière. Ca m'endort en quelques minutes le plus souvent. Mais, là, pas malin, j’avais oublié que Phil Ivey y était. Impossible de s’endormir en le regardant jouer. Alors, forcément, je jette un œil sur ps. Découvre Raymer en train de martyriser le $1000. Ne regarde plus que ça, finalement, quand Ivey se fait sortir (une grande leçon de poker en live, c'est pas si courant). Et voit un $10 NL qui débute. Tiens… ça fait longtemps que je n’ai pas fait un « petit » freezeout NL…


Retour aux basiques
Autant je ne me suis pas particulièrement fixé de stratégie loose ou tight cette fois-ci, autant, surtout, je me fixe comme objectif de ne pas rater un pot possible. C’est une mauvaise habitude que j’ai, je le remarque depuis quelques jours, de laisser en effet filer des mains probablement gagnantes bien que médiocres. Un limp avec 67s trouve une ventrale mais un overbet au flop m’empêche d’aller plus loin. Ma petite voix intérieure me conseille ensuite de gambler avec KTs et je lui obéis malgré que le pot soit déjà relancé. Mais je n'insiste pas quand c'est relancé deux fois derrière. La main finit avec trois joueurs à tapis (TT, 99 et A4s... les malades, ils savent que ce n'est pas un rebuy ?) et m'aurait donné la couleur. Tant pis, good fold, rien à regretter.

J’hésite ensuite à suivre un raise x4 avec JT au BB qui trouvait son brelan au flop. Je suis encore frileux avec ce genre de call. Puis ramasse quelques jetons avec un pp5 qui trouve de la dead money :

Difficile ensuite de gagner les blinds. Toutes les mains sont relancées avant moi ou je n’ai aucun jeu avec un tant soit peu de potentiel. Mais pas question de se plaindre. Un A8 au BB me rapportera tout de même un petit pot sur un flop [9c 7h Td]. Puis un A9, rentré pour shooter un petit stack en collaboration, sur un flop 9 high.


La bulle approchant, je peux enfin faire comme Greg Raymer (qui vient de flopper son second carré. Bien heureux de jouer à ma table plutôt qu’à la sienne -bon, ok, j’aurais préféré jouer le $1000 mais bon, hein…Une vraie boucherie…) et pilonner la table pour prendre les blinds : du bouton avec KQ ; du cut-off avec K3s ; ainsi que la suivante avec QT. Et je dépasse enfin les 10000 jetons quand arrive la première paire d’as :

Même gars que la main précédente, ça sentait la "revanche" à plein nez mais pas l'envie de vérifier. Allez, faut le refaire encore une fois…

Raté pour le SB, mais le bouton est bien servi avec un AK. Ma boîte ne rapporte hélas que les blinds.

L’air de rien, me revoici en gros à un M5. Et les bonnes mains s’enchainent. Je couche tout de même AJ au cut-off sur raise d'un joueur ultra-tight. Mais balance le tapis utg avec AT... qui se fait caller par AJ. Heureusement, la chance est avec moi en ce moment et un T au turn me permet un joli doublé. Ca copmpense pour l'AK vs AQ...


M10, on va pouvoir rejouer au poker :)


Mais le jeu se fait rare. Et les occasions encore plus. Je tente bien un call de collaboration pour shooter un shortstacked mais seulement pour le faire tripler. Un QJo utg me tente beaucoup mais mon M>7 m’y fait renoncer. Tant mieux, vu la suite du coup…

Je limite tout de même les dégats en gagnant deux fois le duel des blinds.

Les tours de table s’enchaînent à toute vitesse. Avec les blinds montés à 1000/2000 antes 100, peu de joueurs sont désormais à l’abri. A commencer par moi et mon M5,5. Encore une fois, va falloir bouger. Et vite !

La table se calme un peu, la table finale approchant. Non seulement le leader a maintenant tendance à laisser tranquille mon BB, mais, en plus, plus de « vols » sont à présent possibles à moindres risques. A peu près toutes les tentatives passent, je ne me fais relancer qu'une seule fois.

Encore une fois, j’aurais pu attendre un peu. Mais je doute qu’il ait donné plus si j’avais simplement callé…

Je vais ensuite me faire avoir dans la situation inverse contre le leader (KQ en main, je n'insiste pas). Du coup, le KQ suivant sera joué bien plus simplemant : all-in préflop sur relance du leader qui nous prouve depuis dix minutes qu'il est un pur malade (hélas, chanceux); c'est toujours ça de pris. Il est tellement chanceux qu'il sort coup sur coup deux joueurs avec QQ en les suivant à tapis avec les pires mains de l'espace. Ca ne dure jamais...

holdem3: shows [Jh Tc] (two pair, Jacks and Tens)

Je parviendrai bien à remonter à un peu plus de 400k mais il va caller avec J9 ma surelance à tapis avec K7s (7 au flop et tirage couleur) et trouver sa ventrale sans que la couleur rentre.

Un peu (terriblement, en fait) décevant de ne finir que second sur deux coups où je suis favori. That's poker. Et on peut difficilement se plaindre quand on vient de faire sa meilleure perf en NL : 2nd sur 1001 joueurs et un peu plus de $1000 qui viennent à point pour sauver un mois qui semblait bien mal parti :)
